The residents of Gleannloch Farms are thrilled that demolition work has finally begun on the strip center located at the NW corner of Champion Forest and Spring Cypress. Several years ago, the developer of the strip center filed bankruptcy leaving a behind a concrete shell of a building that was a community eyesore.
Ryland Homes has purchased the property and will build patio homes on the property instead of a strip center. A significant improvement and better use of the land as we seem to have an almost endless supply of strip centers already in the Spring Texas area.
Ryland Homes plans for the property are still preliminary and as such we only have pieces of information. The details on the project Ryland Homes has confirmed is 39 patio homes will be built. Some of the lots will have golf course views. The price range of the homes is projected to be in the mid $300s.
It’s believed that the floor plans offered will be the same floor plans Ryland Homes currently offers in the Timarron subdivision. When the land will be ready for construction of the patio homes is undefined.
